Our stay was extremely disappointing and distressing due to unprofessional, misleading, and aggressive management. First, my assigned parking spot was given to someone else without any notice. When I raised the issue, the host responded with hostility instead of taking responsibility. The listing also misleads guests about parking fees — it states $5, but upon arrival, they charge $10. We were charged a cleaning fee, yet no cleaning service was ever provided. During our 30-day booking (from September 20), we received no cleaning at all. Only two toilet paper rolls were provided for four people for the entire stay, even though the listing says toilet paper is included. This is misleading and unacceptable. We were informed (not asked) that maintenance staff would enter the flat for bathroom repairs during our stay — completely disregarding our privacy. Even worse, we often felt threatened and unsafe, as we heard door knocking throughout the night, which made us extremely uncomfortable. The management’s aggressive behaviour became so unbearable that we had to leave the apartment on our 20th day, even though we had booked and paid for 30 days. Instead of showing basic respect and hospitality, the management displayed arrogance and a complete lack of professionalism. Guests should be treated with courtesy and care, not intimidation and aggression. Overall, this property fails to meet even the most basic standards of safety, honesty, and respect. I strongly advise others to avoid this place for their own peace of mind

Caira was absolutely amazing—so kind and always willing to help. She made everything easier for me, whether it was about the unit facilities, nearby grocery stores, or even transportation tips. The apartment itself is exactly as shown on the website—clean, modern, and very well-equipped. It has everything you need for comfortable living, from cooking and laundry to just relaxing at home. The location is also excellent. Grocery stores, restaurants, and bus stations are all within walking distance, and it’s just a quick trip to downtown. I would highly recommend Marquee on 16th, especially if you’re new to Calgary or traveling light. It’s the perfect place to settle in and feel at home right away.

The central location

It says air condition but there was only useless noisy portable fans, the street is so noisy and we couldn't close the windows because it was very hot (the apartment is designed to preserve the heat) we had very rough nights

Very neat and clean property! The apartments are lovely! Our unit had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and nice kitchen and a living room with a tv. Our balcony looked south towards Calgary and West towards the Rockies, so we had magnificent scenes day and night! They have underground parking available for $150/month which is nice. Also, there are grocery stores, gas stations and great food all with a couple of blocks!!!

It can be noisy in the mornings due to garbage trucks, but they go away pretty fast.
