Very very clean,beautiful view,host was very kind and helpful.Everything needed in the house.We used BOLT for transportation because we didn'have a car.

Is a little bit far from the center of Canico if you don't have a car. Restaurants and supermarket a 10min walk from the house.Very steep street.

Locatie, super uitzicht. Alleen de haan van de buren was wat schor.

Everything was superb. Above all the view, but the location, the équipement, the calm area, the cleanliness were perfect. Excellent location to explore the Funchal area, the mountains, the south and easy part of Madeira. The host would go out of its way to make sure we have a good stay. Thank you very much

The view and vibe are incredible—all you need! Just note: parking is up on the hill, so be ready to walk uphill to/from the car. Might actually be good exercise after devouring dozens of natas 😉 In January it got a little cold at night, but there was a heater provided, thanks. I would book it again.

A huge apartment with large living room and separate bedroom, with literally everything you might need, starting from cutlery to umbrella. Fully equipped kitchen, even though we didn't really cook anything, but in case you're planning, there shouldn't be any problems (gas stove and cooktop). A compact portable oil heater (was quite useful in December to dry some clothes). There's a also a portable (floor) air conditioner or something like that - didn't need it, but it is there)) Spacious walk-in shower. No problems with hot water or water pressure during our stay. Large floor to ceiling windows with large balcony where you can watch great sun raises almost every day. Owners live on the first floor, but we saw each other probably few times only. Quiet. Well, they have a rooster who usually starts his routing around 7:45 local time, but he didn't really bother us. Several bars, restaurants and supermarkets are at walking distance from the property (10-15 minutes). All in all, a really nice place to stay.

There's no driveway, so you have to park outside on the main road, and usually the only free parking lots located uphill. The house is also located at some height, so without car you will have to walk uphill anyway. Just keep that in mind (can't say we were frustrated about that). Still nice place we would totaly recommend
