Rooftop Marina l by Madeira Best Apartments

Had a fantastic experience staying at this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to everything needed, with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. One of the highlights was definitely the view; whether morning or evening. The apartment felt like a home away from home, and I appreciated the quiet surroundings despite being so central. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated place to stay.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans un appartement exceptionnel à tous points de vue. L'emplacement est top, à proximité des "attractions" de la ville et de la vielle ville, très animée le soir en particulier (téléphérique pour Monte à moins de 15 min à pied, par exemple), des restaurants et des commerces (Supermarché ouvert tous les jours situé à moins de 5 minutes à pied). La vue depuis l'appartement est géniale (port de Funchal et vue sur les hauteurs de Funchal illuminées le soir). L'appartement est très bien équipé, très fonctionnel tout en étant très élégant. Très très propre. Nous avons apprécié le jacuzzi sur la terrasse le soir quand nous rentrions. Enfin, notre hôte Ligia est une perle. Elle est très réactive et très professionnelle, en plus d'être très sympathique. Elle met tout en oeuvre pour que nous passions un excellent séjour et donne des conseils sur les visites, les restaurants, etc. Bref, je recommande cet appartement +++. Nous avons passé un séjour magique. Nous reviendrons ici sans hésiter lors de notre prochain séjour à Madère. Merci à Ligia !

It is in a superb location, totally secure. A well appointed apartment, everything you needed.

Even though I stated it’s totally secure, still feel if should have a safe.

Huge wrap around balcony with hot tub. AC in every room. Full kitchen amenities. Quick access to the mall and 2 markets and popular bakery across the street. Panoramic view of the harbor. Private key cards access to the units. Also have a private garage parking space available to rent.

Our host met us outside the apartment and showed us round. She was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rooftop Marina. The view from the balcony is magnificient. We just love Madeira.

The location of the apartment is fantastic with views from two sides. Also, the apartment was immaculately clean-please pass on our thanks and appreciation to the cleaning team. Finally, Ligia is so friendly, reliable and helpful.

There are a couple of issues that are concerning. The outside condition of the building has deteriorated since our last stay with cladding tiles clearly fallen off/missing with obvious damage to the decking from these tiles hitting it… Also, the inside plaster is also coming off under the windows and detracts from the general condition of the interior.
