Rooftop Marina l by Madeira Best Apartments

The apartment was perfect for our week in Madeira. We enjoyed the wraparound balcony with views over the harbour and the gardens. The kitchen was well equipped, fruit and wine on arrival. We were met by Ligia who was very friendly and helpful. Ligia arranged for us to have a late checkout on our departure day as we had a late flight. Great location plenty of restaurants and bars locally.

Construction feedback the covers on the sofa could do with a wash.

Everything. ...we loved every last thing about this apartment. It is in a perfect location - close enough to walk everywhere but not right in the heart of the toursty section.

Perfect location for a stay in Funchal. Harbour views, massive wrap around balcony so you can easily find sun or shade, complete with a hot tub (we did not use this as its not our thing), two lovely shower rooms, very novel having a shower with a view! The kitchen was very well equipped including all the bits and pieces like salt, pepper, oil and a beautiful welcome basket which was a lovely surprise. There is a great supermarket 3 minutes walk away, a bakery across the road and two minutes walk you are right in the middle of everything. Bus stops are right outside, bus stop 7 for the Aerobus is very handy and our host, Ligia, was lovely, organising a linen and towel change midway through out 11 night stay. We would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Funchal.

The location is perfect close to everything, the view from the balcony to the harbor is amazing . The apartment is equipped with everything you need to relax or make a nice dinner and eat alfresco while watching the boats. Our host was really nice ,she explained everything about the apartment and sent updates on what's happening in town. Arranged the taxi to and from the airport. The place felt really safe as well. Wish we could have stayed longer! :)

I didn’t like the few evil mosquitoes we had ,but that was completely my fault. We should have used air-conditioning instead of leaving the doors open. :)
