Convenient location. The staff is very nice, they helped with all questions. There are all the necessary conditions for living and cooking. Beautiful tableware. Owner of the apartment cares about his guests, there was coffee, tea, cookies for the first time. A private place for the car. Nice swimming pool.

There was a construction site nearby, and every morning there was a loud noise.

All good for first few days but no matter how clean and nice the apartment was I could not recommend it because of the noise from an apartment above

Could not sleep for two nights as a man was calling out all night long over two nights. So loudly , he could have been in the apartment. Absolutely no sleep over two nights. The construction noise was no problem but the man calling was distressing

The apartment is lovely, very spacious. On the first floor so very easy to access. Viktoria and Paulo are great help too.

The apartment was full of mosquitos, my mum got bitten alive. The pool area is very dangerous and dirty, the pool tiles are very cracked, you have to be careful where you step. The pool has a ring of dirt around the edge. Also, we were extremely disappointed by the amount of communication we had with the hosts and they never mentioned that there is a large amount of construction going on throughout the day right opposite the apartment, starting at 7am! We could see and hear it in our room and by the pool. We were woken very early everyday. There is no direct access to the beach either, it is roughly about a 30-40 minute walk from the town of Funchal. Not good for older couples, as it is on a hill.

The apartment's location is great, near to shops, restaurants, buses, an easy 25 minute walk into the centre of Funchal. The apartment is modern, spacious and very comfortable.

The garden/pool area was amazing 😍 for relaxing and listening to/looking at the sea. The rooms in the apartment are well equipped and nicely furnished. Viktoria was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests (eg getting a second key, providing missing laundry rack)

The rolling shutters in two bedrooms were still broken (see previous reviews) and not repaired during our two weeks stay in November. The apartment is poorly soundproofed. We could hear the neighbors very loudly during a few nights (luckily not too often)

Great location - bus stops close, easy walk to Funchal. Good snack bars and restaurants - great variety. Large well-stocked supermarket close by. Lovely modern apartment with sea glimpses from the veranda.

Privacy blinds in two main bedrooms were broken and not working.
