We arrived Christmas morning & got an early check-in—a lifesaver with a tired toddler! The location was perfect, and the apartment was gorgeous & spacious. The kitchen was even well-equipped for cooking! We loved our stay!

The location was very accessible as it had an elevator which made it easier to transport luggages. Key collection/drop-off was very straight forward. The view was really nice with it well positioned balcony that gave a wonderful overview of the nearby vicinity. Room was spacious enough for a 2-person visit. Nice gesture to leave complimentary cookies and wine for guests. Location is a 10/10 as almost every place of interest in the commune was accessible within 10-15 mins by foot.

The direction to the apartment should have been more concise. The numbering on the street was quite odd, hence we spent 30-45 mins trying to locate the building. Proper description (especially using landmarks should be encouraged). While the apartment was clean, there was an excessive amount of sprayed air freshner (even on the fabric) that it felt as if, there was an intention to hide some foul odor. We had to sleep on the floor close to the doors(opening to the balcony) for the first night to breathe properly. This will have been unbearable for people with asthma/breathing issues.

This residence is in excellent location - anything in Funchal city centre is reachable by walk in minutes. Shopping centre, pastry and local restaurants just accross the street. You feel like having a new home in Funchal!
