Arriaga apartment

Great place. Recommend warmly to anyone who wish to feel the Funchal city near all important points. The balcony view is wonderful. The apartment is close to bus stops to wander around the island. Shops and restaurants are near.

Very nice apartment with everything you need

Very nice location. The apartment was clean, with nice view and a lot of space. The host was very polite, with clear instructions and very helpful. That made it very easy for us and overall it was an enjoyable experience. Totally recommend it!

The views, the aesthetic of the apartment, the size was very nice, the balcony everything was great. It also had everything you needed like an iron, hair dryer, all appliances very helpful.

Nothing all was good

Everything was perfect: easy check in and communication with the owner; good location, reachable by bus from the airport; nice view, very spacious apartment with everything you might need during your stay. Definitely recommended.

There was a flower fest during our stay and was really noisy from the street until late night; of course, this is not a fault of the owner.

Great sized apartment, bedrooms are huge with loads of storage. Amazing location right in the old town area, everything in easy walking distance. Fabulous views of the city from the balcony. Plenty of essentials were in the cupboards dishwasher tablets, laundry tabs, tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc. Really handy as it saved us buying things we would only use a small amount of. We found the kitchen well equipped for what we used it for, although it was lacking a chopping board. Host Fernando was really helpful before we arrived and sent me a video to show us how to enter building and get keys, this took all of the stress out off our arrival especially as we arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight.

It would have made the stay a lot more comfortable if there was aircon. There are 2 big fans provided but we still found it very hot. Wouldn't advise apartment for light sleepers as there is some road noise from early in the morning. Bathroom door needs replacing it's hard to close and has no lock spools the otherwise good bathroom.
