Bright, spacious appointment, prefect central.location

The smell of Garbage was everpresent in the entrance lobby, very off putting. (Garbage storage room next to the elevator) The shower door was broken, we had to lift it into place at each shower use to prevent water splashing into the rest of the bathroom.

no reflection on the property but our flight on Azores airlines was cancelled to Madeira arriving one day later to Millennial Lifestyle Apartments, Margarita (representative) was advise about arriving one day later, I am requesting one day refund, I feel this should be a fair business policy

Big apartment with two bedrooms in the very central location. Huge grocery store with everything you need right across the street. Some people were saying that it is noisy, but I wouldn’t say that it bothered us. Im super sensitive towards the sound around the night and we were sleeping with the widely open balcony every single night - no problem at all. It is a city center so yes there may be 1 or 2 people passing by here and there but it isn’t noticeable. Everything was super clean. I appreciated that kitchen had everything u need, including olive oil, salt pepper and coffee. Huge thank you for that! We used kitchen every day for cooking breakfasts. We slept with open balcony and had no problem without a conditioner (last week of June- first week of July). The host is awesome🫶She offered us a private parking space for a very reasonable price and it really saved us from the pain around searching for a parking space every day. We booked last moment and I believe this was a great choice actually!!!

Doors in a shower didn’t work well, but it is just a minor thing and it hasn’t affected our great experience

Great location with lots of local cafes and supermarket near plus very near Mercado etc Two balconies, quiet at night. Huge, spacious light apartment

The only thing to mention is the expresso machine is too light to work on the induction hob, a cafetiere would be better.

Great location and had everything we needed

The apartment is spacious, clean and has all the amenities you require and is very well located in the town centre of Funchal. It only takes approximately 5 minutes to walk to the sea front

As others have said the apartment is not air conditioned and if you open the doors or windows it is very noisy until late at night and from early morning though I appreciate this is to be expected in a town centre.

The service was just really great, nice and very helpful. The apartment was clean. A little too much chlorine smell. Except for the other tourists in the house, the few local neighbours were very nice.

We are actually very insensitive to noise, but the walls and windows do not insulate at all. You can hear people talking down the street, very loud car traffic all day. Sleeping in the evening is very difficult, without ear protection not possible because in addition there are two hotels nearby, where young guests party until 2-4 o'clock in the morning. The distance from the streets to the fifth floor didn't help at all to reduce the noise. The couch is a little dirty, stained and definitely broken. No fun to sit in. Please replace it with a new one. Some wall paint is coming off, the shower is in poor condition, but not dirty. The sunshade blinds do not go up properly in every room, and were intentionally fitted with stoppers by the host. 1/4 of the sunshade remains unrolled and annoys you, when you want to see through the windows.

The property is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat in the heart of Funchal and within easy walking distance to all the key places, museums, restaurants, old town, promenade. The flat contains everything one would need for a stay. The flat was spacious, clean, comfortable, convenient and central. With windows/balcony doors open, there was a lovely breeze throughout the flat. The lift was very handy for the 5th floor flat. The balcony was great and it was good that seating was provided. It was great to sit in the balcony and relax and cool off.

The property did not have air conditioning although with windows/balcony doors open, there was a lovely breeze. We went in May and it was comfortable (23C) and on some warm nights, I left the balcony door open to let cool air in, however the room door kept slamming shut with the breeze so a door stop would have been nice to have. I am not sure how it would be during very hot weather. For an 11 night stay, I felt not enough toilet paper was provided - only 3 rolls. We had to buy a few more rolls for our stay. The flat was only cleaned on exit. As we were there for 11 nights, it would have been good if the flat was cleaned at least once during the stay. The occupants of the flat above which had an open terrace decided to have an all night party which was very noisy with sounds of furniture being moved, loud talking etc and it was difficult to get to sleep.
