Great location in Castara, nice view from the terrace. The hosts were friendly and helpful and easy to contact whenever we had an issue. We extended our stay because we were quite happy there. A good setup for a longer term stay, with a solid kitchen set-up, comfortable bed, nice sofabed and good hot water in the shower.

It is not a realistic place to stay if you intend to walk to the beach, the walk is straight down/up a very steep hill where cars drive fast and there are many curves. Probably a fifteen minutes down and longer back walk. Castara is a truly excellent beach for nightlife but not nice for swimming unless you like to snorkel through fish heads. Best to have a car so you can explore the other, quieter beaches around and see more of the island.

A sign with the name "Cottage Mango" at the location would have been helpful.

A comfortable bed sitting room. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. Lovely balcony overlooking tropical trees with many visiting birds. Fabulous.

It was a good ten minutes walk up Hull from the beach - not a problem for me. The only real problem was that it was noisy at night with traffic passing and multiple dogs barking. Also, many Cockerells. Bring ear plugs.
