Palazzo La Piana Rooms

The best part of this place was the the host who was amazing. Luca took great care of us on every level - waited for us to check in after midnight, showed the facility, let us leave the luggage for the whole day after checkout, gave recommendations in Catania and other towns around we visited. He was always available for help, day and night. Location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic center with amazing views onto cathedrals/churches around but minutes walk to the major bus stop. The apartment was clean and very spacious, with two bedrooms.

Prachtige locatie met mooi uitzicht midden in het centrum en erg ruime kamer met gezellig balkon.

Doordat het midden in het centrum is heb je ‘s nachts overlast van de straatmuzikanten. Ook de koelkast op de slaapkamer maakte veel lawaai.

Location is excellent! The room was big, air-conditioned, very good size bathroom and shower. Little bonus was the balcony(in individual rooms) and a terrace for common use attached to the kitchen area. I read reviews commenting about the noise levels, but I didn't experience any problems. When closing the shutters it did help isolating the noise. I guess for very light sleepers earplugs could be helpful, but I personally slept very well and wasn't bothered. Special mention goes to the staff. They accommodated my every need, including the late check out. Giuseppe who is the owner kindly allowed me to stay till late afternoon. Luca who was meeting me at the location and checked me in was very helpful and friendly.

Location is perfect in the city center. Beautiful apartment. Coffee machine and pastry at the morning. The hoast Giuseppe welcomed us, help with the luggage.

La ubicación , la limpieza, la atención de Luca, el alojamiento es mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos, la terraza es un plus, si vuelvo a Catania no buscaré otro lugar, volvería a alojarme aquí.Eso sí, es una ciudad muy animada y estando tan céntrico, cuando organizan algún evento en la plaza, se filtra el sonido. Para mí no es problema porque nunca viajo sin tapones.
