La Chiocciola Apartment

The Italian village of Cefalu is amazing and the location of the apartment is perfect! The restaurants, shopping and beach/ocean is right outside your door or within an easy and enjoyable walk! We walked in the village, shopped, had great food, hung out at the beach, hiked and went on a boat tour, which was all lovely! The town is clean, walkable and the people are very hospitable. There is a high end restaurant right by the apartment (blue neon lights) and the food was pricey but delicious and the service and setting were excellent! We would definitely go back!

Our host was very responsive and welcoming. The location was perfect close to everything but nice and quiet.

It was a tad small but that's because we've been staying in much larger spaces.

This beautiful modern unit is perfectly located in downtown Cefalu close to everything. We arrived by train and walked 20 minutes to the accomodation where we were met by our host Daniele who gave us lots of useful information. Breakfast vouchers were issued for a fabulous place in the nearby piazza.

We found the bed and pillows to be very uncomfortable but understand that may not be an issue for other guests.

Lovely location with a balcony looking over the main street. Extremely clean and with excellent facilities. Very handy for the beach, the Cathedral Square, shops etc. Host Daniele was friendly and helpful, and there were even sweets and wine waiting for us.

If you need complete quiet to sleep then this may not be for you as it could be a bit noisy in the night (people going past; bin lorries etc) but for us the location (and the balcony) made up for that.

We had an amazing stay at La Chiocciola Apartment. The location was perfect - right next to Duomo, surrounded by great restaurants and many shops and boutiques. It was only a 10-minute walk from the train station and around a 5-minute walk from the main beach. The property was very clean and comfortable. There was one sofa bed in the kitchen and a double bed with a smaller folding bed in the bedroom. The host, Danielle, was superb! We really appreciate that we got sent a timetable with trains from Palermo Airport to Cefalu before our trip - it was a massive help for us.

The folding bed was a tad bit uncomfortable but we spent 17 nights at the property. If you are planning a shorter stay then it should not be an issue.
