Refugio Madeira

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos—clean, comfortable, and perfect for exploring Madeira. We especially appreciated the underground parking space right next to the apartment entrance, which was both convenient and secure. The host was very kind and welcoming, leaving us a small gift and a lovely welcome letter.

Suggestions for improvement would be a self check-in option with a key locker, as arrival times are currently fixed. Other suggestion would be to upgrade the coffee machine. The apartment has a capsule coffee machine, but we did not particularly enjoy the coffee it made and ended up using the traditional coffee pot instead. A higher-quality coffee machine would be a great addition. Overall, an excellent stay!

Świetne miejsce- urządzone z gustem, przytulne. Sypialnia zaciemniona, pokój dzienny z telewizorem, kuchnia a w niej podstawowe wyposażenie wystarczające dla dwóch osób in plus sól, pieprz, oliwa,kawa,herbata. Pralka (super bo były dostępne kapsułki i płyny do płukania), łazienka z wanna/prysznicem. Dodatkowo duży taras oraz miejsce parkingowe w garażu lub jak kto woli na zewnątrz. Stąd było wszędzie blisko, więc jako baza wypadowa na szlaki super. W okolicy małe sklepiki i fajne knajpki. A i prawie zapomniałam że zostaliśmy bardzo miło przywitani- dostaliśmy banany a Sonia zostawiła nam mały gift :) dziękujemy! Spędziliśmy bardzo miło czas!

I loved staying in this apartment. It’s close to many restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance. The beach is also very nearby—perfect for a stroll or a swim. The apartment features a spacious outdoor terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sun during the day. My daughter loved spending time in this area. It’s a lovely place for a relaxing stay, with good accessibility to the airport and to Funchal city. The apartment was clean and included all the kitchen accessories needed to cook at home.

Very good location, nice, cosy and well-equipped flat with a large balcony. We did not have any problems with the noises. The flat has two parking spaces, which is very helpful. The communication with the owner was easy and thorough, and we could stay longer on the check-out day. A mini Spar superarket is near, and several restaurants and pubs. The welcome cookie was really nice and delicious.

A mosquito net would be really good to the bedroom and the living room. There are electric mosquito repellents in the flat, but we still had some mosquitos unfortunatelly.

Schönes Appartement in ruhiger Lage. Supermarkt, Bäcker, Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen, allerdings darf man die Steigung nicht unterschätzen :-) Problemlose Kommunikation. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche.

Ein Sonnenschirm und Insektengitter wären die einzigen Verbesserungsvorschläge.
