Superbly modernised older property. Superb position in a square near the cathedral, cafes and restaurants

Manager is not resident and omitted to send me the key pad code for entry until the next day. Meaning after a long flight I hammered on the door until a cleaning lady finally let me in. Make sure you get that code and all will be well

Nice, modern and bright apartment in a traditional building in the centre of Funchal

The kitchen was rather poorly equipped

The logation was exelent.

Perfect location if one is staying in Funchal and not driving. Apartment is well aired and has all the necessities. Very helpful staff and the state of cleanliness was above normal. We arrived earlier than normal check-in time but still were allowed to use the apartment. Highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable appartment in the middle of Funchals old town. Shops and restaurants in walking distance.

The location was perfect specially if you are doing tours

The apartment has a modern feel with all of the details very well thought throughout of the appointment such as lights, layout and how space is used, the build-in cubostd. Its relatibely small space but feels quite spacious due to the way it's designed. Great bathroom and well done kitchen. It's very well equipped with all possible staff that you need in kitchen, bathroom (including very well staffed first aid kit) and even though it has 3 big windows that face the bed, the curtains are so thing that you can get the nice dark room for night . Also, the air-conditioning is over the bed and blowing air in such way that it dies not blow straight onto one spot, or you when laying in bed. Fot that matter, to the apparent gets great cooling and it's easy to relax during the day despite the 3 big windows and sleep at night. The location is just in the middle of central Funchal in a building looking over a small square with 5 minutes walk to the cost, the old market and the old town - all a must see where in Funchal. The great thing is that the square goes quiet in evening so there is no disturbance to sleep. Also, when buying trips or attraction in Funchal, the pick up is easy and almost always few minutes away due to the location. Also, all you might possibly need is around: market ,(highly recommend to use Continente supermarket l, don't use smaller stores like "Amanhecer" as they are soooo overrpriced), local restaurants, local cafes fir your morning coffee, pharmacy and like everywhere else all the tourist ships you can think off. Lastly, the staff ( a lovely man and a woman whose names we had not catch and it wpuld be great to memtion tbete here) ) were so helpful, kind and responsive that it made out stay move to the execeeemt level. We will definitely be coming back to Madeira and to that particular location!

A small suggestion for improvement is this: there is no sofa for sitting in a day, so you end-,up sitting on bed therefore I would suggest a choice of different cushions to supporting you back agains the back of bed. Also on the pillows we're a bit too soft which might suite some people but not all. Also, a small table and so e sort of chairs on the balcony would also be great addition.
