Antico Basolato House

The apartment was perfect for us, we were two couples needing 1 night in Catania before a flight. It was spacious, clean and well appointed with nice touches like coffee, pastries and jam provided. Also it was well decorated.

The bedroom, kitchen, diner and 2nd mezzanine bedroom are all in one room open plan - not an issue, it just wasn't clear from the pictures.

In my opinion there is no better place to stay at Catania. It is a perfect combination of antic walls and arches with modern furniture. It is clean, spacious, the beds are very comfortable, there are good quality clothes hangers, there is a 43 inch TV in the master bedroom and maybe a 20' in the kitchen,17 minutes from the historical center by walk, there is coffee pots, tea bags, fully functional kitchen, small garden between building where you can relax.

The communication was only through Google translator, because they sand messages only in Italian, but there was no problem or miscommunication.

Very clean apartment within 1km of all the main areas of Catania. It has lots of character and we really enjoyed our stay. It has a loft style second bedroom that was an excellent option as we had three people travelling. Owners were very flexible, allowing us to store luggage before and after the stay which was greatly appreciated.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. And you have entire flat and your own kitchen aswell. Wich is great. There are 2 double bed but one of them is smaller then the other one. However the flat is still suitable for 4 people.

There is no window since its a maisonette but you stilll can get out easily. Apartment has kinda yard. You can smoke and chill on the bench.

The apartment was nice and very clean. The only thing that we didnt like was localization - the streets are so littered. However, Its not their fault, so the apratment can do nothing about it, so we mark the apartment itself 9/10.
