Antico Basolato House

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered, it was even nicer than it looked in the photos. We slept very well - it was cozy, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was available in the apartment. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

We were there during the winter and needed the heater, which only heated the top floor. So if you're sleeping on the bottom floor, you may need an extra blanket, which were available.

The apartment is very nice! The facilities were good; the host left us coffee and snacks and the kitchen was well equipped, as well as the rest of the apartment.

The apartment is located in a shabby neighborhood. It is not very close to the main square. We did not feel too safe walking to and from the apartment at night. We got a message from the host with instructions how to enter the apartment only after we called him. This might be a problem if you don't have an operating cellphone.

There is only 1 a/c which is definitely not powerful enough to cool the whole apartment in summer. Basically almost no cool air can reach the upper bedroom, it was too stuffy and hot to sleep, even with 1 fan provided. The lower bedroom is better but still very warm since it’s far from the a/c. We stayed for 4 nights so requested for extra fans on the first day but never arrived. The power was cut twice while using washing machine and oven/stove at the same time. Was told it’s a small apartment and we cannot use “too many appliances” at the same time. Not recommended for more than 1-2 people to stay. Self check in was handy, but we only received the instructions after we arrived and with 2 phone calls to chase. Had to wait outside for 20min with young children which was not ideal.

The apartment was newly and beautifully furnished with all the ammenities you may need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi was working very well. The owner was very helpful

The location is not far from the centre but it is a bit unsafe. We had to wait like 20 minutes since we didn’t get the checkin instructions.
