Elder Park Apartments

Wasn’t particularly impressed with anything.

The outside door lock. Was a nightmare to get into. The location. Long way from anywhere. Everything needs an update. Everything done very cheaply and you can tell. Shoddy repairs evident everywhere. Beds not comfortable - although pillows and bedding were nice!! It was ridiculously hot - a couple of fans could be invested in. Would be nice to have some information in the rooms about transport links - bus numbers, where to get them etc, local taxi firms, takeaways.

The property was clean, conveniently located, and had an excellent heating system that kept the apartment warm and comfortable throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and straightforward, which we appreciated. Street parking was also readily available and worked very well for us. It was well equipped, with enough dishes and kitchenware for four people. Street parking was available and worked very well for us.

This was my first time booking a property through Booking.com, so I was surprised that some basic supplies were not provided. There was no dishwasher detergent, shampoo, or other essential items. Since many guests travel by airplane and cannot bring these products with them, providing simple amenities such as basic shampoo, one dishwasher tablet per day, and a small amount of salt and other kitchen essentials would greatly improve the guest experience. We booked the property for four people, but only two beds were fully prepared. Although the sofa could be converted into a bed, there were no sheets or blankets provided for it. In addition, there were only enough towels for two guests. Ensuring that bedding and towels are available for the number of guests booked would make the stay much more comfortable.

Perfectly located, Lovely space and outdoor use an added bonus. Easy parking. Easy access and initial communication. Everything needed for a short stay.

Attention to details needed for cleaning. Slight repairs and updated refurbishment required which I’m told is due to happen.

Very basic and a lot of money for what it was. So much noise from other apartments, we didn't manage to sleep at all. Not very clean (we found a false nail while getting the extra bedding out of the sofa storage). Apartment was also boiling hot when we arrived, shower tap leaked and it was impossible to get a water temperature that wasn't freezing cold or boiling hot. Disappointed. Also one of the postcodes in the details is wrong and sends you to the wrong address.

Excellent property well equipped and very clean, ample parking and in a great location, Cairen was a fantastic host and I would definitely stay at the property when working in the area again
