Everything you need for an overnight stay, clean, comfortable, good wifi, great to have a washing machine.

Location a bit dodgy, but easy for public transport

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and warm. Kitchenette had basic cooking utensils, cups, plates etc. microwave, good size fridge, kettle, toaster. Bed was ok although you could feel the mattress springs a little. Big rain shower head, lovely hot water. Quiet, couldn’t really hear neighbors except on odd occasions, and didn’t hear traffic. Five minute walk to train station and supermarkets.

Parking was very hard - no dedicated parking at property, but just like all residents in the area, you have to park on the street and it can be very hard to locate a space. We felt that we had to take extra care walking around the neighbourhood especially at night.

Location and parking excellent. Near the local train station. Easy access. Clean and comfy.

They allowed me to check in early & the manager on duty was friendly and kind.

When I informed them of the broken front door lock, and how I felt unsafe staying there, they challenged me on the validity of that concern. I have videos showing the lock not working. The front couch in the foyer is stained beyond belief. There was an unidentifiable brown stain on the mattress and sheets (see attached photos). When I informed them I was leaving early, they stated the only way I could receive a refund was to cancel the reservation. This was not an option available to me once the stay started. When the representative from Booking.com tried to resolved this, management ignored them until after the dates had passed, therefore no refund.

The bedsit is located between two train stations so was convenient for public transport. There is a Sainsbury's Local a short walk away. It was very quiet both in the bedsit and the surrounding area. The bedsit was very clean. The bed had a mattress topper and was very comfortable. We managed to get a parking place on the side street next to the apartment. There was a full kitchen.

We had no hot water for over a day. The tv didn't work till the last night. The owners have been very stingey with crockery and cutlery. There was only two of everything apart from bowls - there was only one bowl. The fitted sheet was too shallow to cover the mattress and topper so it kept coming off at one side. No thought had been given to the decor, there were no pictures on the wall and the furniture was arranged weirdly There were two folding chairs in the wardrobe but no dining table, only a coffee table which was useless. We had to eat breakfast sitting on the bed and didn't bother cooking a proper meal. It was a scruffy neighbourhood with rubbish everywhere. In fact, during our stay, two mattresses were dumped beside our car. Parking is at a premium in the area with people double parking everywhere. There don't seem to be any traffic wardens around.
