Carmen en el Albaicín con Jardin y Vistas

Terrific location. Close to Mirador de San Nicolás. Amazing terrance view. Very helpful and responsive host.

The private, large and well appointed terrasse high above city center offers spectacular wide-open views of the city, with gorgeous sunsets. Our host Andres greeted us, explained the area’s highlights, then followed up with texted links to help us enjoy our time to its fullest. The bus service connecting to city center was regular and with nearby stops for lazy days when the walk back up the hill to the flat was too much! There are basic grocery stores within walking distance as well as small plazas with cafes and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is charming!

The flat itself is not luxurious: there’s a small kitchen sufficiently equipped to cook simple meals, incl a toaster and French press coffee maker, though no pod coffee maker), a separate common room with dining table for 4 as well as a small couch and TV. The layout then leads to the double-bed room, through which one walks to get to the bathroom, through which one walks to finally get to the 2 single-beds room. This means very little intimacy. When one is in the 2 single-beds room at the back, one needs to knock on the door to check if the bathroom is clear, go through the bathroom, knock on the double-bed door and go through that room, before getting to the common area, kitchen & the door to exit the flat to the lovely terrasse. As expected, driving and parking is a big challenge in Albaycin, so plan to leave your car elsewhere and walk or use the convenient public bus.

Principalmente da hospitalidade e do cuidado do Nosso Anfitrião André. . A casa é um charme, casa de avó restaurada.. Do terraço se vê a cidade e o pôr do sol, um verdadeiro mirante. O jardim com romãs, jasmim, laranjeiras é outro encanto. A casa é completa, com máquina de lavar louca, roup, fogão, forno, torradeira e micro-ondas. No banheiro tinha desde geo de banho até caixinha de primeiros socorros.. Tem ar condicionado e aquecimento. Fomos recebidos com vinho, chocolate, frutas e outros mimos. Enfim, a melhor experiência que eu já tive em estadia fora de hotel.

Exceptional location with wonderful outlook over Granada. Private but with easy access to Albaicín’s attractions (miradors with views of the Alhambra, bars and restaurants, etc). Magical gardens form part of the property – sitting out there is highly appealing.

We liked everything!

The view from the patio is exceptional. Sitting on the patio in the afternoon with a glass of wine and watching the sun set over Granada is an experience that will remain with us for a lifetime. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. The air conditioning works well. Andre, our host, is excellent at communications and met us and showed us around the apartment and explained how things worked. He gave us great advice on things to do and places to eat.

There is some road noise - the apartment is below a road but didn’t disturb sleeping.

Beautiful property and stunning views

Nothing to dislike

The view is outstanding. Spacious terrace. Old house with old furniture but very clean and maintained. THe owner is super nice. In perfect area full of restaurants. The garage is small but very close and convenient.

Only drawback is that you are actually sleeping under a small road and every car or bus that is passing is giving vibrations that you hear. And the night is so quiet that it is hearable, but the road is not busy at all.
