Carmen en el Albaicín con Jardin y Vistas

The location was ideal for what we wanted, which was to explore the old town (Albaicin) on foot and to hit the various miradors throughout Granada. Winding cobble streets, flowers spilling over walls, historical monuments hiding behind each corner - it was exactly what I hoped for right outside the gate. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen. We made use of the kettle, microwave, and French press. The convenience let us make the most of our stay - we were able to enjoy coffee in the morning, cook breakfast, drink wine on the terrace... Having amenities like a laundry machine was also excellent. No dryer, but between two drying racks and the Spanish sun that was not a problem for us. Between two bedrooms (3 beds total) there was more than enough room for our group of 3. The beds were very comfy and knocked us right out. We also had heating and AC. The bathrooms were also well equipped - generous bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturizer, antiperspirant spray, a hair dryer... Other notes: The bathroom with the beautiful tiled tub has a couple inconveniences: it was a bit difficult to pull the toilet flushing chain. Even just a cloth/fabric handle would make it easier. This is not unique in Granada, although some flushing chains are easier to manage than others. (The other bedroom's toilet is a push button). The shower tub's glass partition also only covers the tub halfway, so one must be mindful to avoid spraying water on the floor. These were ultimately minor things, and for us, the character of the space made it worth it. The property is accessed by a gate. The door needs to be firmly pushed/pulled in order for the key to work properly, and it might help to have written instructions for guests to help with opening it the first time. In sum: A lot of thought has clearly been put into making sure guests have everything they might need, even comfy throws in the living room and on the terrace.

For us, it was great. Be mindful this place is best for groups who plan to walk and are fine with stairs.

Beautifully situated property with spectacular views over Granada and beyond. The terrace is West facing so we were able to enjoy a spectacular sunset. The apartment itself has lots of character and charm and it was very clean and comfortable. The entire place was well stocked with everything one needs to self cater cooking wise. The internet worked well. Overall a wonderful three days spent in this outstanding 'home'.

It was a bit cool indoors and would have benefited from a little bit of heating (non available). It was November when we were there.

It is wonderful place with very very nice view in the hearth of Albacin. Terrace is really very large. Room is perfectly equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend.

Weather! Too much rain during the night. We would need much more time than two nights.

Great location for visiting Alhambra and the caves. Property has an amazing terrace and everything you need. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Even before our stay, Andres was so helpful and informative. When we arrived at the house, he was there to meet us. Inside the house there was everything we could possibly need.....wine, chocolate, tea, coffee! The house itself is wonderful; perfect location, really authentic feel, incredibly comfortable....and of course the terrace is amazing, with the most fabulous views! I would recommend this property to everyone.

Absolutely nothing!

The views and courtyard are incredible. Spectacular views of the city in historic area. Feels like a resort. We enjoyed sunsets both nights. Very hospitable and kind host with obvious pride of ownership. He said this was his grandfather's home. Classic Spanish style home. Our favorite place that we stayed in our two weeks of travel.

Location was outstanding, stunning views overlooking the city. It was very clean and the host was very accommodating.

Nothing really. All I would suggest is investing in a smart TV to allow guests to watch Netflix etc.
