Dream House Duomo Catania

This is the room with the best view in Catania — and that’s no exaggeration! Having dinner with a view of the Cathedral of Saint Agatha, while listening to street musicians playing on the main square. Hearing the bells of all the churches in the morning and watching the main square of Sicily come to life! Entering through a discreet door in the middle of the main street and seeing the surprised faces of passersby — priceless! The apartment itself is cozy and thoughtfully designed.

It’s on the 4th floor with no elevator, the beds aren’t the most comfortable, and there are some ants in the kitchen. But if I ever come back to Catania — even if the price of this apartment doubles — I’d still choose it again!

Giovanni was an amazing host Check in / collection of keys was easy following the video sent by him I accidentally locked the keys in the apartment and he came really quickly to let me in Apartment is spacious and comfortable Bed comfortable Air conditioning great The terrace is amazing and the view directly into Piazza Duoma is fantastic Apartment is super central. Literally steps from Piazza Duomo Photos on booking.com show exactly what the apartment looks like

The steps up to this apartment are mammoth 102 in total and a real climb The door key is on a padlock with a key for the electric. This key needs to be plugged in for the electrics to work. So whenever you're out the electric to the apartment is off. This meant you couldn't buy any food for the fridge and drinks you put in there were warm Toiletries left in the bathroom cupboard and a used soap bar left out too. Felt a little like these belonged to the host? Since I submitted this review the host has messaged me privately and been quite rude My review is very honest It gives praise where due And highlights things I feel others would benefit from knowing Screenshot of messages in photos The host then contuned to message me privately and even after asking him not to do this again he sent more messages and video called me which I did not answer I have now blocked the host Screenshots attached I originally rated this property a 6 which is pleasant as it was But since all of the hassle from the host I have changed my score to 1

J'ai aimé la terrasse, l'emplacement 10 mètres de la piazza del duomo, des magasins, des restaurants pour tous les budgets et la belle ambiance du quartier. Malgré le manque d'indications de la navette à l'aéroport, puis petit soucis avec un taxi, Je garde un bon souvenir de la patience et la gentillesse de l'hôte Goviani et sa femme. Pour la petite histoire, j ai confondu et suivi sur google map l'itinéraire du duomo housse catania. Presque le même nom alors qu'il se trouve, à 28 minutes de la place. Pour les étourdis comme moi attention!!!😅🤣 de bien noter l'adresse. Sinon, Vous risquez de marcher 1 heure aller retour comme moi!! Pour résumé, c'est une super adresse!!😍

The location was fantastic and the view to Mt Etna from the top balcony is amazing.

The cleanliness was not great. I was there for six nights and provided with only one towel and no extra toilet paper only what was on the roll when I arrived. There is a lot of electrical wiring and broken switches in the apartment. It was advertised with a laundry but this door was locked and when I asked was told the washing machine was broken. The TV in the bedroom did not work either.

Lovely view from the rooftop!!! We will never forget! Thank you for the experience!

The location at and view of Piazza del Duomo was incredible. Every room including the rooftop sunroom has a heat pump (AC unit).
