Lovely small apartment on third floor of an old building full of apartments in a quiet street in Frankfurt's old town. Apartment had good size bathroom, with shower in a bath, large sink and toilet with plenty of toilet paper. Bathmat and lots of towels provided. Small bin in bathroom, hand soap on sink. Nice kitchen with table and 4 comfy chairs. Kitchen contained coffee maker, kettle, microwave, fridge, sink. Cups, plates, some glasses, some cutlery. Kitchen paper, coffee, tea, sugar and powdered milk provided. Washing up liquid provided. Kitchen has window that can be opened, also a good size rubbish bin. Lounge and bedrom all-in-one. A large space with two rocking chairs and one swivel chair. Large, comfy double bed with pillows, bed sheet and duvet provided. Chest of draws. Small table each side of bed. Small lamp on each side of bed. Multi-plug socket under bed. Large window for good light in lounge/bedroom. Heating available. Good speed, free WiFi throughout apartment. Code given to access WiFi. Keys to enter building and apartment. Italian restaurant nearby. Supermarket and underground and tram a 5/10 minute walk.

No lift/elevator in building. Apartment on third floor, with lots of steps. Had to give specific time to collect keys, found this a little strict. WiFi password very long. Owner/host a little worried and fussy about having 2 blind guests. Check-out time is a little strict: 11 am. Told to keep noise to a minimum because of other apartments nearby. Long walk to public transport. Apartment is overpriced. Not worth 109 Euros per night. Although it was booked last minute.

Everything was at a satisfactory level. The apartment is clean, tidy, equipped with everything you need for a few days' stay. The apartment is in an extremely good location, close to the Heumarkt square, from where there is an excellent connection to everything you need in Cologne. The host was approachable and hospitable, he gave us a real tourist lesson when we arrived.

The recommendation is to change the mattress in the larger bed
