Getting the keys and returning the keys was the only "hard" part of the process--it wasn't clear what to do and when I knocked a few times on different doors after the airport shuttle had dropped me off, a nice woman (who only spoke Spanish--understandably, but my Spanish is very poor) showed me the unit. It would be helpful to have some instructions in English for the unit and I wasn't sure what to do about returning the key--you're supposed to use one of the keys to unlock and lock the gate entry, but... I tried that and no one answered at the door to return the keys, so I had to go back and unlock the gate, leave the keys in the unit, and walk out of the gate, leaving it unlocked to catch my ride. There was no other option that I could think of/see/or had been told about.

lovely place, 10' walk from the city center. comfortable bed, great shower with fast hot water (that does run out quickly though). recommended, good base to explore cozumel!

really nothing bad... if you look for a long hot shower, you might be a bit dissappointed...

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It had AC in the bedroom and a well kitted out kitchen, if you wanted to cook for yourself. There was a lovely private garden with a patio and seating; a large lime tree provided welcome shade. I even saw some hummingbirds in the morning. There was a supermarket close by and it was easily walkable to the sea. The owner was extremely helpful and replied promptly to any messages. The price was excellent and it was just around the corner from where I was learning to dive.

Comfortable bed, nice kitchen area, safe.

Garden area had unsightly black mildew on walls. Only 2 towels for a week. Garbage wasn’t collected. Kitchen lacking basics like cooking oil. Location wasn’t convenient for us. Too isolated. No local information provided.

We liked the location: Walkable to the municipal market with great food and grocery options, and close to some good restaurants. It was nice to have a kitchen that had great equipment. The bedroom was spacious. The host was nice and very responsive, we got a change of towels and bed sheets in the middle of our 4-night stay. The area was very safe, and the front door was lockable. Nice property with garden. Didn’t use the TV. WiFi was ok also. Overall great value.

The property is a bit run-down. For the bathroom, a lid on the waste basket for toilet paper would be great. There is also no exhaust in the bathroom. The hot water typically lasted for 4-5 minutes, which was a bit short for a full shower. My wife got an allergy from the bedsheets which got resolved with a change in bedsheets.

Great place! The hosts are amazing and very welcoming and helpful. Respond very fast and helpful. The location is great and it was very clean. feels safe !!
