Very clean room throughout--NO harsh cleaning chemicals. Appliances worked well. Refrigerator and Freezer also very clean and worked very well, no residual odors from previous users.

Steep stairs front and back (well, we *are* a year older than the last time we were here...). New smart TV & remote in the living room had a learning curve the old one didn't, but enjoy the very large screen for viewing.

Lovely accommodations. Great communication from host.

Maybe a little warning that to get to apartments 3 & 4 that you would need to go up two very narrow, steep sets of stairs.

Clean and quite roomy.

You can hear the neighbors talking and banging around who were loud. They eventually quieted down. If we could hear them talking that easily Im sure they could hear us talking so there is no privacy for anyone.

Easy to check in nice space

Easy check in and great location! Easy to find. Clean and comfortable setting.

Didn’t know about the stairs to the room. Not a big deal but would be nice to know in advance. Perhaps I missed it in the description. Parking wasn’t ideal, as someone had parked in the spot that was designated for my room. I had to go and visit with the owner to see where to park. Lastly, there isn’t much soundproofing, so street noise was moderate and noisy guests echoed throughout. Again, not bad, and would most likely stay again.

The location was perfect to get to know Decorah. It was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed.
