"Beautifully located, stunning room kept to as original as it could be."

Gorgeous little hideaway, felt completely lost within its walls.

The pub directly across had karaoke on until 11, however, if you have a sense of humour we just chuckled along to the singers and their choices given the location. Someone blasting out Zombie when your 6ft away from a graveyard was sum what giggle inducing.

Central location at the top of the main street directly behind the King's Arms.

Nice gesture leaving x2 heaters for the room being winter. Did everything that we wanted for our overnight stay.

Location. Did not meet the host, but messages were answered quickly. Early check in was appreciated.

On arrival there is a sign saying the building/rooms were up for Auction. Brontë Room is a period room with lots of features. The rooms were cold, only 2 small heaters, only 1 plugged in. Radiators were not working, it was so cold in the bathroom, we left early the next day not showering. Flush on the toilet was terrible. Bathroom was not very clean, large birdcage of cotton wool balls? They were covered in dust. Plug sockets were overloaded. Found two dead flies on the carpet and one alive in the room. Kitchen area not very clean, random teabags some not in paper. Bathroom had half bottles or random toiletries, empty bottle of shower gel on the shelf. Maybe with the buildings being up for Auction has affected the cleanliness of the rooms? One major point was the main door up to our room was pushed wide open, anyone could have got up to the two rooms, keys were in the door in arrival, room next door was not occupied but the key was left in all day/overnight. We could not lock the main door, so security wise this was poor.

Excellent location right in the centre. Unusual quirky room with great facilities.

Was a bit of noise from the club next door but this stopped very promptly at closing time.
