Lido View Calla by An Island Apart

Great, stylish little apartment in a great location. Very helpful staff and such a lovely people in the city. I can't wait to go back as Madeira and the people of Madeira are spectacular.

Good location, very close to ocean walks. Private parking spot. Great wooden floors. Very clean. Very good Internet.

No Mosquito nets, a lot of them. Plus cockroach first night could be maybe avoided with the net.

Pleasant and spacious apartment is in a good location, close to the coast, bars and shops. The price also includes a parking space in the building's garage.

It was quite hot during our stay, so we missed the air conditioning. There are only portable fans in the apartment, but they cannot replace an air conditioner. The extra beds in the living room are quite uncomfortable and not suitable for adults. Access to the garage is very narrow and winding, suitable only for smaller vehicles. The actual location of the apartment is 200m down the road from the location shown by Google.

Good location, uncomfortable couch

Nice, clean apartment, very comfortable. Good localizaction, near markets, cafes and restaurants. Good contact with host. Easy self check-in.

Underground parking is problematic. Exit from the parking is narrow, slippery and has steep driveaway so mamy cars was unable to leave it safety. It was very stresfull for us.

The place was nice and close to freeride madeira, would recommand for 2 people.

That they have only 2 beds, the couch was HORRIBLE.. its impossible to sleep on it, If somebody would ask me to recommand this one? I would say NO, if you're 3 or more people becuase you're going to have a restless night. The garbage picking of glass at 23:00 was horrible. The smell of the restaurant under the apartmant was kind of annoying, if we had AC that would solve the issue, but since no AC we had to have open windows. The apartmant has smell, it needs more cleaning.

The location of the Apartment is great, it is close to supermarkets, restaurants, bus station and taxi station. You can do a 30 minutes walk to the city center. It is equipped with everything we needed for our trip.

The bathroom needs a little refurbish.
