The location was wonderful. We hired a car and the parking facility was in the basement of the apartments. We were met by Fatima, she showed us around the apartment. We could not have wished for a better apartment. The island of Madeira is beautiful. We will be back.

The apartment was very clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. It is well equipped and has plenty of storage space. Fatima was very helpful and responsive.

It was a very great apartment for us, it is huge, there are two separated bedrooms with bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a very big living and dining room. There is a huge balcony, which has a great view to the ocean and to the mountains. The construction before the apartman was being paused while we were there, so it wasn't any noise. You can enjoy the sunrises from the balcony, totally worth it!

Welcome in person at the property. The location, size and comfort of the whole apartment was great. Luggage storage was excellent and the linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, fixtures and fittings were all very good.

Main bedroom directly faced the breakfast room in the neighbouring hotel which meant that as there are no curtains we had to keep the shutters closed or virtually closed in the morning. Wi-Fi only worked in the reception room. Only one set of towels for our week long stay.

The apartment exceeded all my expectations. - It was huge (larger than the photos show). You could ride a bike inside. - it had a fantastic big balcony/terrace/sunbathing deck with chair table and two giant deckchairs you could even sleep on (even all night if you wanted!!!) this was the highlight of my vacation, because some apartment owners/managers forget about furnishing the terrace and here everything was perfect- even though the days were very hot (32 degrees) the mornings, afternoons and evenings where cool enough to spend a lot of time there (and there was some wind on fifth floor) - plenty of storage space in cupboards and walk-in closets (for an entire football team!) - spotlessly clean (and for some reason it was very difficult to make it dirty, I think the materials used in the apparent were top quality plus there is very little dust on Madeira) - comfy beds and pillows (I think they are some of those new high tech mattresses and pillows which are somehow hard and soft at the same time (in a good way). For some reason I stopped snoring there. I snore terribly everywhere but not in Casa dos Filhos, Funchal). - very well equipped kitchen, maybe the best I've seen on booking - had a welcome gift (wine plus Madeira wine, fruit, bolo do caco, cheese, chorizo) - location (I would give it 9/10) - it's not 100% perfect but the apartment is just on the edge of the district where all the restaurants and generally all life is located in Funchal, so no use going the other way. The closest Pasteleria and closest Winery are just a 1 minute walk on Rua dos Netos (it will take you longer to leave the building with the elevator). One is open in the morning and the other in the afternoon, so what are you waiting for? The two markets (Continental and Biedronka... I mean Pingo Doce are a 10 minute walk so going back slightly uphill with your grocery is a bit of a chore (but there are some small shops nearby).

- Could use some olive oil in the kitchen (I know it's not made on Madeira but it's useful and it's hard to buy in small amounts just to use for a couple of days, it would be great if it was already in the apartment, just as salt and pepper, and lot's of wine and beer glasses currently are :-)) - The elevator is the second slowest one on earth (actually the slowest one is in Lisbon) - My key to the main entrance to the building stopped working on day 3 and it wasn't fixed until we left (I know: "long weekend"). I had to always enter the apartment building through the garage. Maybe there is a code for the door too, which we didn't get. - The walls could use some pictures or other type of ornaments or any other personal touch.

Very clean and new. Spacious. Central location with accessible parking. Lots of natural light. Modern facilities. Easy check-in process. Air conditioned. Generous welcome pack of local treats.

Pillows uncomfortable (although that is personal preference). Currently located next to construction - not at all disruptive to sleep but means it’s noisy during the morning & day if you want to sit on the lovely balcony or have the balcony doors open. Once the doors are closed, and noise is minimal.

Very clean, very comfortable, loads of space. Well equipped. Good facility to park

The , accommodation was good, location was good, it's a great big place, lots of storage, great balcony, had a problem with the air conditioning, but Gary got it fixed ASAP The apartment block was also very quiet and car parking spot was available and a great lift up to the fifth floor Gary was also very helpful and told us all about the property and there was a welcome pack, and he allowed us to stay until lunch time on day of departure, when our taxi picked us up Would recommend this place, we thought it was great value for the money

The building work going on right in front of the apartment, which was a bit noisey and detracts from the view, Also could have done with a few more cups and mugs in the kitchen

Spacious modern apartment in great location just 5 minutes walk from Funchal Old Town . Great views from the balcony, you can see the cruise ships in Funchal bay, and also the cable cars heading up to Monte. Excellent accommodation with everything you can need provided. The owners also left a basket of tasty treats, including local wines, fruit, cheese and bread as a welcome gift.
