Super friendly host. The flat was equipped with a first grocery load, so the holiday could start immediately without worrying about going shopping. Salomon spent a long time with us recommending the best spots, treasures and best food places. This was much appreciated.

Salomão, the host, was a real gem -so welcoming and helpful. Made a real effort to help us find our bearings- gave maps and recommendations. He provided so many extras, even things like clingfilm and Tupperware. There were little treats, things we might not have thought to try otherwise. The house was spotless and in a good location. We were sad to hand back the keys

Perfect location with car park. Great host ,helpful thoughtful . Great view Thank you for having everything we needed. I even had bread ,milk, wine cake, fruit, and much more . Near café and supermarket, kids park . Definitely will come back.

This is just my preference. I would prefer if double bed was softer , a bit too hard .

Great host, friendly, always available if necessary. Gave us plenty of information about the surrounding area , the island its places to visit, its attractions and restaurants. The place is a short walk from downtown and yet very quiet. There's a bus stop across the street if you want to go to Monte and its gardens and a park with a cafe is just down the street. There is a nice supermarket around the corner and a convenient coffee shop/bakery.

Nothing absolutely comes to mind. I have been traveling for a long time all over Europe, the USA and Southeast Asia and this is the best place I have stayed ever.

I really recommend Olivia´s Place and I will definitely return. Among the best accommodation I have ever stayed in during my travels around the world. The hosts get absolute top marks too, so friendly and helpful with everything. Good location with a short walk down to town. There is a nice bakery and cafe and a grocery store just a block from the apartment.

Very friendly host who has a lot good recommendations & is always available if you have any questions. The views from the balcony and living room are amazing : Enjoy breakfast or a beer while looking at the ocean. Old town is just a 15minute walk, little supermarket 2minutes walk, big supermarket 2 minutes by car. Private parking in front of the house in a separated area. 100% recommendation, Thank you :)

One of the best hosts I ever had! The flat is very clean and it looks better than in photos. Great balcony view. There is supermarket 2min walk from the building, and the bus stop as well. Highly recommended.

Ideal location for our needs. We had two young children in our group as well as three adults - lovely park nearby and a good local supermarket. Salomão, the host, provided useful equipment for the children - cot, buggy, car seats, high chairs, plate, bowl, cutlery and toys, which were much appreciated. We were able to walk into town (the walk back with the buggy was a great workout!) and there was a bus stop nearby, if needed. The apartment had everything we needed, was comfortable and had great views over Funchal and the sea. Salomão also provided lots of tasty local food and provisions, which everyone enjoyed.

Everything is perfect in the apartment: - all equipment you can imagine to be useful for you is there, - the host is super friendly and take care of his guests with great care, - the apartment has spectacular view on ocean and hills -a bus stop is just in front of your building, as well as cafeteria for local breakfast and supermarket - fast wifi and table to comfortable work remotely -20 minutes by walk to city center
