Marvelous Ocean View

Edgar is a very kind host and Horácio (security guard) really took care of us. Someone in the neighbourhood sadly scratched our car over night. Horácio did everything to support us and with the help of Edgar‘s messages, I knew how to proceed. Amazing and kind people, really really enjoyed my stay here and it for sure won‘t be the last time! The view was amazing too, I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves in the background

Furniture seems to be outdated. We didn‘t use much of the common area, but for the price it could be more modern. One minor minus point was also, that there aren‘t much supplies like washing machine pads. If you provide a washing machine, it‘d make sense to also offer washing pads with it.

Labai rūpestingas šeimininkas - skrydis stipriai vėlavo naktį, bet mūsų palaukė ir pasitiko. Išvykimo dieną galėjome išsiregitruoti vėliau, nes turėjome skrydį vakare. Visad laisva parkingo vieta. Neapkrautas baseinas kieme. Vieta puiki, tiek iki mokamo, tiek iki nemokamo paplūdimo netoli. Supermarketas taip pat šalia. Apartamentai labai ramūs, švarūs ir patogūs (labai puikus buto išplanavimas).

The apartment is in a perfect location - there is a bus stop to Funchal directly in front, a shopping mall with well equipped convenience store 5 minutes walking from the place. Close to the promenade. Parking is right by the apartment. Very easy to get to. The apartment itself is really spacious and very comfortable. Lots of sitting area, good kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine. Basically everything that you need while on vacation. There is a bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet so no queues in the morning :) Big balcony overlooking the ocean for some added comfort. The host was really welcoming and nice, answered all our questions. Checkout is really easy.

You can see that some of the facilities have seen better days, chipped paint here and there, little rust somewhere. All in all nothing that is really a showstopper. I can recommend without second thought :)

The bath was out of action, a bit disappointing.

Fantastic location, breathtaking balcony view, excellent facilities, and superb value for money.

The accommodation had no smart TV, limiting English channel access. The second bedroom lacked proper curtains, and an unusable shutter let in street lighting.

Very clean and well equipped with a fantastic sea view. Edgar the caretaker was wonderful and answered any questions immediately.

The area lacks any real character and is very focused towards tourists however this may be a personal view as some may like it .

The apartment is very big and very well situated. The view from the balcony does actually all the money. The apartment has a very good location, near the mall Forum Madeira where you can find all the groceries you need I even got a haircut there. Is not really in Funchal but you have a bus station in front of the building and you can get in Funchal in 20 minutes with 2 euros, the taxi if you need to come back late is 10euros. We had a car and the parking secured with a gate and a guard 24/7 was very helpful. The host Edgar was extremely pleasant, he spoke a perfect English and he set up an airport shuttle for us at 4:00 a.m. which helped us a lot.
