Great host! Thanks for sharing a list of places to visit, it was helpfu. An apartment is big and light. The view as on picture. Comfortable underground parking is included.

There were problems with internet and hot water (it was working like 10min of cold and 5 min of hot). Also surprisingly there is no shampoo/shower gel..

We loved the location and the view. It's close enough to the centre to take an exercise walk in (45 mins) but not too busy. With a very convenient shopping centre nearby. We found we didn't need to hire a car other than for a couple of day trips out around the island. The apartment is well designed and laid out, very convenient for a single person or couple. It felt reasonably spacious throughout. It was clearly designed as an apartment to live in, rather than a holiday apartment so, for example, it has lots of storage space.

The kitchen needs a makeover. The owner knows this and plans to do it. It's not a disaster, and we'd happily use the apartment again, but it will be much better when it's done.

Great views to the Ocean and near the beaches and Promenades, only 5 minutes walking.

Location and view were superlative. Near restaurants, grocery store, not far from Lido, casa de lobos and of course Funchal. All within reasonable walking distance. The "cafe" downstairs is a big plus. The owner was easy to deal with, responsive and informative.

The address listed on booking.com is not the actual address. The owner will text it to you. At a quick glance, which I did, the names look the same. It's nearby but not wheeling luggage while .

No gas detector and smell of gas in kitchen. host response to open window. not good. see pics. not having a gas detector should not be allowed when bookings taken for families booked flat for 1adult and 2 children, double bed only. a camp bed and a sofa is not what i paid for, for 8 days holiday at quite an expensive price. see pics electric sockets looked unsafe - see pics
