Hardgate Gardens

It was very convenient for Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and it allows dogs and has a nice little garden for the wee dug to run in, and a big park nearby.

The hot & cold taps don’t open and close properly. Bedroom curtains are very thin. The freezer had been switched off and contained stinking rotten food.

It was what we were looking for with a plus. One of the best bed we slept in. Shower and bath were awesome. A wee garden for our puppy. We felt really comfortable and our host was quick and ready to reply.

Clean and comfortable. Good location for city centre. Good communication with host.

Little things - last minute messages about charge for the dog, cold water tap in kitchen broken so had to buy bottled water, no hairdryer, had to ask for more loo roll!

Very conveniently located near hospital and shops.

WiFi

Excellent location, great for bus links. Cosy and clean property, very friendly and helpful owner. Heating is easy to use and flat heats up really quickly. Sofas and bed are comfortable.

The only minor criticism is that the kitchen was missing a basin and toaster, and a bedside lamp in the bedroom would be good.

It was by a good bus route and straight off the M8. The back garden was an asset. The bed was comfy and the front room was comfy. The host responded quickly to our WiFi query. There was also a parking space.

The back garden wasn’t secure for our small dog. The cold water tap didn’t work properly. There were dirty cloths and tea towels just left on the side. The towels were damp. There was only a really tiny amount of toilet roll left for us. This was the same with the washing up liquid. There was no scrubber and just a manky cloth we did not want to touch. There were no bedside lights. The grill knob didn’t work, the remote control for the tv did not work. There was a lot of rubbish and stuff left in the garden so it wasn’t somewhere to sit out. It was a lot of money to pay for the place and the standard was poor. It really is in need of modernisation.
