Very clean. Good location too

Very modern inside, comfortable and everything we required was there. Great communication from the property management and they answered all our questions helpfully.

I am always very comfortable staying at Brockhurst Lodge. It is immaculately presented and is a cozy and relaxing place to stay. Pleasant place to do some work calls from when needed with good Internet access.

Please fix the big clock......bugs me every time because it is so prominent but doesn't work. Though to be fair it is right twice a day :-)

Beautiful house, looked as though it has been newly refurbished despite the property being advertised on Booking.cm as an apartment! Everything in the home you could possibly need. Excellent door entry arrangement, keyless. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, plenty of lights, plug points and good WiFi throughout. Short drive to the Gosport ferry car oark to get to Portsmouth. Convenient parking space at the rear of the property. There was also tea, coffee, milk, juice and biscuits left for us.

Unfortunately the house sits on a main road, so the sound of traffic and the flash of vehicle lights at the window all night long takes a while to get used to. Not much that can be done, though from the sound through the front door and windows, maybe it could be lessened. We were used to it by the second night. The instructions left by the hosts on arrival are contradictory and confusing. It took a long while to find out how to turn off the child lock on the cooker hob, as this wasn't filed with the instructions for the hob, but in a different section (there were around 7 sections!) There is also confusing details about deposits and fines. The details given after booking say that a deposit of £350 would be taken from our card a week before arrival, it wasn't. Then the book of terms on the table when you arrive states in one place that £350 can be taken up to 5 days after we leave the property, in another place this is £250, for numerous reasons, one if which is if things are missing...obviously! However, there is a massive inventory of 4 columns of absolutely everything in the house. I was so concerned that money would be taken for things missing, I checked the entire list, which was incorrect, as not everything on the list was there. I emailed the hosts, and am still awaiting a response. Not the most relaxing way to spend the last night of our holiday, checking an inventory!

A very comfortable and well equipped house which makes a first rate base for a stay in Gosport. Despite being on the road it is very quiet and relaxing. Fine for doing some work calls from the house if necessary.

As the host says, the parking space is suitable only for small to mid sized cars.
