[kritsa house]

"Kriza House" was a special experience for us! A house with Cretan families - -History , well designed combining History items and all we need for Our cormftable needs. The house is a part of the old traditional neighborhood , which Gives you deeper experience .

I was there at the end of the Summer and it was lovely and quiet. It’s easy to enjoy Kritsa by foot with all the sights and walks. The gorge is definitely worth experiencing / and it is a loop ! You do not have to come back down the gorge. The loom and artifacts in the house are amazing. The little terrace for breakfast is lovely.

For me it was a bit dark inside The Internet is quite patchy - in case this is important for you

Die Dusche ist für sehr große Menschen etwas niedrig. Ein Mitreisender von uns passte mit seinen 195 cm Größe schlecht in die Dusche.

The house is located in a very nice village, with commodities and restaurants. It was very confortable and good furnished, keeping the traditionnel spirit of the house and the family history. Iannis is a really nice and friendly person, taking time to share with us some moments, to tell us more about his life here in Creta and to exchange with us, in addition to some gifts waiting for us when we arrived. We really appreciated our stay and the conversation with Iannis. We would definitely come back to this place if we come to Creta again. ,

Nothing

It was lovely staying in what felt like a home in a local neighbourhood. It was comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and the wine and raki awaiting us as we arrived felt so welcoming. Giannis, our host, provided clear instructions and checked in to see that everything was fine. The highlight was meeting him and sharing an evening of friendship on his farm: enjoying tasting his wine, raki and fresh food straight from his garden along with good conversation and lots of laughter. It is moments like this that remind one what is really important in life: the moments you share your humanity.

Kritsa House is in a great location in easy reach of the centre of the village and the gorge. The view down the valley to the sea from the balcony is wonderful. Best of all is the hospitality of the host Giannis for whom nothing is too much trouble.

Mattress could have been firmer for me.

Spacious, beautifully decorated with family photos and heirlooms, it had everything we needed and was a great location. Giannis had provided several guide books of the area ( in several languages ) and even left us a bottle of wine and raki! Definitely one of the best places we have stayed in Crete.

Great facilities, had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. Gianni's, the host was helpful, communicative and accessible, should we need him.

Parking

The location was in a typical village setting, with locals sitting outside and friendly. I echo everything else that is written here in the reviews.

The bed was soft and wasn't good for me.

The location in the tiny village was fantastic, very friendly street and the house feels full of love and history, having been beautifully restored by its owner. The house is also very well equipped and clean.
