Very well equipped, great hosts, great location

Perfect location, v well equipped, v clean, v light, great views

We were in the attic flat and found it a bit too small, made worse by the sloping ceilings. Also, there was only a standard size double bed.

Fantastic location, clean newer apartment, fully equipped (including a washer drier- a great option for those like us travelling light).nice and quiet. Dawn, the owner, was an absolute delight.

Excellent breakfast provisions. Good location, close to station as we had to catch train on our last day.

Although mentioned in the description for this fabulous apartment, we didn’t recall that there were three flights of stairs Grateful owners who met us and carried up our suitcases

We had a wonderful stay at Nort Bode Apartments in Lerwick. The location was excellent — after hiring a car, we found it very easy to park on the road right in front, and it was only a short walk to Commercial Street. Having a small apartment was great after staying in hotels, and since we like to travel light, having a washer and dryer was especially convenient. Kitchen was well set up. The weather was sunny and perfect. I’ve always been interested in Fair Isle knitting and visiting the Shetland Textile Museum and talking to knitters demonstrating techniques was a highlight. Music in the pubs and the chance to see a puffin up close as well as Fair Isle in the distance at Sumburgh Head was also unforgettable. I have celiac/coeliac disease, so discovering Fjarå Café Bar — a waterfront café offering a variety of gluten-free options made a big difference to my traveling experience (be sure to book ahead, as they are very busy). Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The apartments are in a quiet residential street; they are easy to find and access whilst also secure; they are convenient for transport and shopping; they are spotlessly clean and excellently equipped; and above all the staff and the hosts are friendly and go out of their way to make sure guests feel comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like.
