Tranquil Rainforest Studio Kuranda

Everything!!! Studio apartment was gorgeous 😍 Pool was just what we needed after our long day on motorbikes 🏍 🏍 Facilities were perfect, Majella and Max were very accommodating and friendly.

A bit tricky on our motorbikes accessing property...but that's situational (cause we choose our mode of transport 🤣🏍🏍)

A charming and secluded oasis amid the beautiful, bird-filled rain-forrest. The host was an absolute delight, very helpful, friendly and warm. The beroom/kitchen was perfect for my needs. The bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. I had a hire car which was definitely needed. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The ony thing I fel that could (maybe one day) be improved is that a ceiling fan above the central patio would make the world of difference.

It was very comfortable with everything we needed, and the host and her daughter went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Highly recommend.

the location in the middle of the forest was amazing. Majella and Max were fantastic hosts. the studio had everything we needed for our stay.

it was a bit to far to walk to town but our hosts were brilliant and drove us in and out. so was not an issue.

Do yourself a favour and make this your base for visiting places around the area (don't stay in Carins). It's the kind of place that feeds your soul. No need to lock the doors (it is completely safe). The windows are screened so they can all be open and there's no need for noisy, blowy air-con. You are surrounded by tropical trees and birds - it has the peacefulness of sleeping outside in nature but with the safety and comfort of being inside in your cozy bed. Susan is lovely and oozes the peacefulness of the place. She was great about picking me up and dropping me off since I didn't have my own transport. The place itself is beautifully decorated, everything is chosen with and treated with care. It's the perfect retreat.

The place well exceeded my budget but I found out Oz is expensive and supply and demand.....

Great accomodation in a lovely location. The studio was very spacious and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We arrived in the dark and the turn into the property was hard to spot, but would not have been a problem had we arrived in the daylight- that was our issue, not the property's. In hindsight, it would have been nice to have stayed for a few days longer in order to fully appreciate the lovely Barron River & Kuranda area, rather than passing through. Great hosts and highly recommended. .
