If I could, I'd give this place 6 out of 5 stars! The name 'Tranquil Rainforest Studio' really fits—such a peaceful spot. We loved being surrounded by rainforest sounds and seeing butterflies around us, which made the atmosphere magical. The studio was spacious and beautifully decorated, which felt so welcoming. Our host and her family were super kind and even helped us get into town when we needed it. It was a stay that really let us unwind and breathe a bit. We would have extended our stay if we’d had the time. Highly recommended—especially if you have your own transport, but even without, as we managed fine thanks to our lovely hosts.

Beautifully located, private, very well presented and comfortable. Washing machine always appreciated on travels. Very nice bathroom with rain head shower. Comfortable bed. Surrounded by bush. Susan was very friendly and relaxed.

To us everything was fine, mostly exceeding expectation.

Fantastic, beautiful studio nestled among the rainforest. Woke up to a chorus of wonderful bird songs out the window and ate breakfast outside looking right into the rainforest. Our host, Susan, left us great directions for finding the spot and was very helpful in the morning with suggestions of local attractions. The studio apartment is quite large with plenty of space for work and sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped and we made our meals there (which can be important as there are not many restaurants open for dinner in Kuranda).

A little warning on how steep the driveway was would have been good, otherwise everything was lovely

This was the perfect tranquil stopover. It's a few kms out of town, but the rainforest location and the amazing chorus of birds and insects certainly make it worthwhile. The apartment is lovely with all the facilities you could want. Given the distance from Kuranda Village unless you have transport it's worth bringing provisions and cooking on site. We had a BBQ and a bottle of wine and enjoyed chilling for the evening. Well worth the visit and Susan was an excellent host!
