Machico Comfort

It was very comfortable. Neat and tidy. Great position.

The location was excellent. It’s walking distance to the beach and all the little restaurants and businesses in town. There is a grocery store a two minute walk away down the hill. The condominium as well outfitted, it has good airflow, it is well outfitted, it is not fancy, but it is serviceable. There is a nice little outdoor patio. there is no air conditioning and I could find no heater control, not that we needed it. It’s a flat, so there’s always a learning curve and figuring out how everything works. Love the washer and dryer.

There is parking available in the garage, but it is a tight spot, and hard to get in and out of. It will not fit anything other than a medium size car, and that will be tight.

The lighting is a bit dark in the rooms. It’s a bit of a walk from the beach and located uphill.

Great place to stay in Madeira, convenient to explore all parts of island. Parking garage was a bonus during Oscar storm ;)

The shower hose was leaking on several places

Very clean, had everything available such as towels, iron, washing machine, plates, cutlery & pots and pans.. perfect! Any messages sent to owner we had a quick response

The owner said we should pay for her cleaner as we left 15 minutes after her arrival. I hope we have not been charged. The hostile message just left a bad feeling after a nice stay. The cleaner asked us to carry out the rubbish and recycling bags. I was already struggling to get my bags out and downstairs ready for a taxi and found it a real effort to also take the rubbish down the slope and round the corner.

Awesome facilities, great location and spacious. Have got all the amenities. Truly great value.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!!

Easy check-in/check-out, good communication and instructions. Good overall location with big supermarket just around the corner. Assigned garage parking is a big plus but only for skilled drivers. The place feels nice, there's a cozy heater for chilly evening. Lovely terrace to hang out and get some sun. Lovely views of the hills in all windows. We enjoyed ourselves here.

Plastic tea kettle - come on :-) Some noise for light sleepers: those early morning roosters on one side and rushing buses on the other side. While the single beds had very comfy mattress the double bed is springy and hard.
