Private Self Catering Studio Newquay

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. I was alone so it was fine, but it would be too small for a couple to inhabit. The flat is a bit hard to find and has not lighting at night. The stairs to get to it are very steep and a bit challenging if you are lugging a suitcase. Once you have mounted the steps the wood planking of the decking is in bad shape. Clearly the layout of three flats for rent in what was probably one flat gives off a maxing-out-a-tiny-space for money vibe. The flat was clean and well laid out but preparing food, much less cooking anything was challenging. You can barely sit on the toilet as it is so close to the wall and clearly there are septic/drainage issues because you have leave the window open at all times or it gets stinky/stuffy.

Cooking/preparing food was challenging. there was no cutting board and no garbage can, just bags so I had to leave a bag of garbage on the kitchen floor.

Outside flooring/decking unstable and unsafe, no lighting leading to the studio at night, too many ornaments etc leaving little space for our belongings

Cute and quirky studio in a really convenient location, less than 5 minutes stroll into town and walking distance to beaches. We travelled by train so it was great to be within walking distance of the railway station and very near the bus station for days out too. For a small studio, the host has managed to fit in lots of things you might need for your stay. Sainsbury's is nearby for food shopping and there's a Spar shop and launderette nearby too. Host was pleasant to deal with and provided helpful and straightforward instructions. The outside seating area is a lovely little suntrap and a real bonus to have. We found it comfortable and would stay again.

Nothing. The only thing to note is that there are steps up to the property which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
