The accommodation offers a chance to experience daily life in a Japanese home.

Due to an intense heatwave, the temperature inside the accommodation reached up to 46°C, making it impossible for us to stay. That said, the host was very understanding and kindly agreed to cancel our reservation at no cost, which we truly appreciated.

Jolie maison individuelle, bien équipée et avec un bel aménagement traditionnel.

４人での宿泊は多少無理があった。 エアコンが１台だけのため、この厳しい暑さのなかで４人が過ごすのは厳しいものがあった。

Very good for the price you pay, gives you the experience of a Japanese house.

The closest transport to the stay wasn't the best.

I liked that I had this entire small house to myself; I got a glimpse into everyday life in Japan. There is a kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, a small bathtub, and you can do your laundry for free out back. The key is in a lockbox, so easy to access the house with the combination.

There are few dining options in the area, but I had a nice katsudon near the local train station. It's a 3km walk from Okayama train station so taking the local train would be ideal, but it only runs infrequently.

Very cozy, well equipped house full of authentic details. It was very easy to find, well connected to local buses and overall, much more impressive than I thought. I stayed there alone but it could easily host more people (although in that case the use of shower might cause some nuisance as it is direcltly connected to the kitchen).
