Ikkenya Tsushima

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful house and I cannot recommend it enough. The space is not that big but it is really well organised. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked our own food there. Right outside there is also a washing machine which was super convenient. If you come with a car there is a parking spot right outside and it is also possible to use the bikes but we did not have time for it unfortunately. The area where the apartment is located is also very quiet which made for a great night sleep. The communication with the host was perfect and there is a very convenient self check in mechanism. Overall this accommodation deserves all the stars I could give. 100% recommended if you are staying in Okayama!

I booked this place for an absolute steal several months before my two day stay. Around 25 USD per night The house was large and well stocked with amenities. It was clean and everything was in good working order. The bikes were very handy to have for getting around Okayama, although the seats aren't the most comfortable.

Location is somewhat far from the nearest station if you have luggage, but more importantly, the trains and busses don't depart as often as you might be used to coming from bigger cities. Be sure to check the time tables ahead of time. Because of the somewhat involved process for getting to and from the station, I would be hesitant to book this for another two night stint in Okayama. For a week or more however, I think this is the perfect place to enjoy Okayama from. You're really going to struggle to find better value than this.

Quiet location. We wish to try living in Japan house

We enjoyed staying in this quiet suburb, riding bikes along the small streets. Having a whole little house to ourselves was a nice treat. The host was responsive and self check in was easy. Good directions to the location.

Having a whole traditional Japanese house was a welcome change from hotel rooms. The property had everything we needed and a lot of things we did not use, such as a washing machine and bikes. A very enjobale six day stay.

Trains were not very frequent and it was quite far from the station.

Very affordable for a whole little house, including a bike. I was happy to try sleeping in a room with tatami mats. The house is older but everything was functional and clean.

The bath is a bit of a struggle to get in and out of but it's not that bad.
