I was pleasantly surprised! The apartment is quite big, basic as you would expect for this price but very comfortable, clean and really has all you need. The location was just amazing. It's located on a very nice square with an authentic restaurant where locals also go (highly recommend) while at the same time being very soundproof, you wouldn't hear anything from inside although it's very lively and vibrant outside. And it's just a few min walk to the main touristy area. We also really appreciated the check-in process. Roberta who welcomed us was very nice, reactive and drove along with us to the place to make sure that we would avoid the ZTL with our car (area where you have to pay to drive around). Really nothing I can complain about regarding the apartment!

I was asked to make a 30% bank transfer beforehand otherwise my booking would not be guaranteed. This set me a bit off and even made me a bit skeptical because it is not common practice on Booking.com- it even made me doubt it it was a scam of some sort, especially since I never received any confirmation of the transfer. But as all the reviews were positive I went ahead and turned out everything went well. Please just note this aspect and don't be surprised when it happens. Also plan to have some cash to pay on-site, no cards accepted. Yes there is breakfast, but don't expect amazing breakfast even though it says 'breakfast'. It is quite basic (industrial prepacked biscuits, brioche & jam), but again not surprising given the price and that it's an apartment and not a hotel; it was fine for us because I had read the reviews and my expectations were not high.
