Buena localización, cerca del centro de la ciudad y de buenos restaurantes y cafeterías. Muy buen trato por parte del propietario, atento y dispuesto a ayudar en todo.

El anfitrión de maravillas . Muy atento, servicial detallista excediendo todo lo que se puede esperar de un anfitrión: ayudo con las valijas, no encontrábamos, no encontrábamos taxi y nos llevó a la estación , no acepto pago ni propina . Excelente!!!

Friendly host, extremely helpful

The stairs to the apartment (68 or so) The noise from the area (from dog barking at 4am, the generator in the building making constant noise, etc. Perhaps better noise isolation could have helped) Shampoo in the shower would have been useful.

We stayed for 3 nights and we really enjoyed it! The owner was friendly, willing to help (he even offered us the possibility to free park our rented car in front of the building), showed us the apartment, gave us very useful information about sightseeing, restaurants etc, let us check out late and spoke fluent English too. Although the building seems run down, the apartment itself is renovated, fully equipped, super clean and very comfortable for two people. It was very quiet at night (palermitan neighbors from nearby apartments were really quiet) so we enjoyed good night sleep. Location is perfect, every tourist attraction is reachable by foot ( 10 min walk to Politeana theater, another 5 min walk to the historical center), plus the neighborhood itself has food stores, mini markets, restaurants, cafeterias etc. Overall it was a very nice experience, we enjoyed this lively and full of attractions city and of course if we visited again Palermo, we would choose this apartment again!

The only downside was that the apartment being on the 4 th floor has a lot of stairs ( it was not problem for us but it could be for people with mobility issues or heavy suitcases), but we would not change the proximity to the historical center ( which usually means old buildings with no elevator), for the convenience of an elevator.

The best booking experience I have ever had! Massimo is an incredible host - kind, helpful and quick to respond. He greeted us on the first day, providing the keys and giving us lots of insights about Palermo and the surrounding area and also sent us many links for places of interest that we can visit. He also brought mineral water to us without us asking him throughout our stay which was very kind as we were sightseeing the whole day and were very tired. The flat itself is spacious, modern, it has the facilities to cook if you want, the bed is comfortable however the sofa is perfectly fit as a bed too. Massimo was checking up on us throughout our stay whether we needed help, recommendations and if everything was okay with the flat. This made our stay even more enjoyable as it is can be sometimes hard to navigate a new city / country. Cannot recommend Casa Colorata more and Massimo is the best host you can find. Thank you Massimo!

Probably the best host I have ever had ever ever. He took care that everything is comfortable and convenient, while giving me all the privacy that’s expected. The apartment is in an edgy building, but overall gives you very safe feeling (I was a female solo traveller). The apartment is new, clean and has literally anything you would need. Felt like at home.

Great location - walking distance to main sights as well as eating areas. Max is a great host with lots of tips for places to go and things to see.

It is at the top floor of a 4 storey building with only a narrow stair access - hauling luggage up there may be a challenge. The apartment is quite smsll although the bedroom is a decent size. Whilst the area was very quiet at night, there was ongoing construction work which was noisy during the day (although max infomed me that is was to put in a lift which should make access easier in the future).
