Villa Adriana

A great little apartment in the old town, with very easy access to restaurants, cafes and the port being only a couple of minutes walk. The apartment was very comfortable, a small but effective kitchen, great balcony. The bed was firm which we liked. The AC and WIFI worked well. The communication with the owner was easy and excellent. She recommended restaurants which we absolutely loved.

The villa was huge and in a great location close to the port. The room had cooking facilities, but with great food options close by we didn't need it. The team gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do which was really helpful!

The main bed was a little uncomfortable, but otherwise everything else was excellent

Very large appartement but two big terraces in the middle of town but still super quiet. Very nice host!

Bathroom and kitchen are a little outdated but work very well and cause no trouble at all.

Beautiful and charming property

Location, front balcony with bay view, back roof- top terrace. Aircon in bedroom excellent. Helpful and responsive host. Close to port and bus station and restaurants.

Didn’t bother us, so not a dislike, but quite a number of steps from the street to living area. Kitchen equipped for basic breakfast.

Great location in the heart of Parikia. A 5-min walk from the port. This is a pedestrian zone, with free parking at approximately 550 meters. Excellent communication with the owner. She provided us with a list of recommended restaurants and places to visit. The list was spot on. Well suited for families with young children.

As shown in the pictures, this is a mainly rustic style apartment. Bathroom is not so nice, and the open shower lets water splash all over, so be ready for a wet floor. The two single mattresses are uncomfortable. The queen size mattress in the main bedroom was good.

The only thing we liked about this property is that it is in a convenient location to go to the port and restaurants. However for unloading luggage, you will have a walk a little bit. On the topic of location - this villa also does not come up for most taxi drivers - majority of people on the island do not know of this hotel.

Saying this a hotel is grossly an over-statement. This should be listed on AirBnB, not Booking.com. We had cold water every single day of our stay. I reached out to the owner, however she didn’t respond of 2 days. She provided instructions, however those did not work. Seems like there is only 1 hot water heater for a 3bedroom villa and if one person takes a shower for more than a few minutes there is none for the rest of the day. We know this because we could hear when others were going in and out of the room / shower. No one come to take out the trash throughout the stay or bring fresh towels or make the bed. There was zero security upon our arrival - the key to our door was left in the key fob. The manager/ host came in after we arrived and quickly showed as around the room. Other than that, there was 0 communication. No helping plan taxis to and from, no setting up excursions, this is essentially renting an ill-furnished room at a hostel. The mattress has zero cushion and should be considered a box spring. You can feel every single wire and spring. This “bed” should not be used by anyone in general, but especially someone with a history of muscular or skeletal pain. On our last day, both the water and power went out. I reached out to the manager/host and she said that there was an outage on the island that had been going on from 12am and would continue until around 10am. We quickly learned that this was not the case. There was power and water throughout the town, we asked people we saw, got coffee and breakfast on the other side of the building. Not sure what happened, but we were thankful that we were leaving that morning.

Upstairs studio apartment with a balcony overlooking the town and the bay.Also has a rear terrace overlooking the mountains so plenty of space to relax and dine. Whilst right in the heart of the old town it was very quiet and the neighbouring streets had great ambience . The owner Ioanna was kind enough to extend our exit for a couple of hours to minimise our wait for our ferry.
