The Hideaway

The location was great, right in the middle of town, the hosts had bought us provisions and were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, the accommodation was really clean and tidy. We all had a brilliant weekend biking, and the owners made everything very easy to be able to enjoy it to the max. It’s also had a nice little sitting out area which helped because the weather was amazing too. Would fully recommend and next time we’re in the area we want to stay again.

Steps going to property are steep and wouldn’t be ideal for someone with mobility issues

Central position, comfy beds, welcome pack, comfy sofas, kitchen well fitted. Little extras like tissues.

Basic TV selection. Alley to stairs at night time was dark - it had some movement activated lights but with a bit of a delay. Hot water kept coming and going. It was a cold day when we arrived and the heating was set to low to medium so took awhile to warm up.

Really comfortable, well equipped and central. Would recommend it to anyone.

Only the pillows on the main bed but owners addressed this.

Perfect location, excellent facilities, and very clean. Excellent hosts!

Die Lage mitten im Städtchen war klasse. Die Wohnung war sehr groß und alles war vorhanden.

Eigentlich eine schöne Dachterasse, aber der Fettgeruch von der Gaststätte nebenan war sehr störend. Der Boden in der Wohnung könnte mal wieder gewischt werden.

I have stayed in The Hideaway previously and this visit was just as good as the last one. The property is comfortable and spotlessly clean as well as being centrally located in Peebles. Neil was, as always, a friendly and helpful host.
