Stylish Apartment in Stone-Built Former Rectory

A great base for a stay in Penrith. The apartment spacious, comfortable and very well equipped for cooking. Checking in was very easy and the host Darren was very helpful with all my questions and requests. The bed and living room area were both very comfortable. The apartment has a great view of the local surroundings and is located very close to the local shops and cafes. I felt that the stay was very good value overall.

Good location, easy walking distance to all amenities. It was, however, in a quiet location. Very well equipped; not sure that there was anything we needed missing. Darren provided excellent instructions prior to our arrival and the garage parking was a bonus. Although not a problem for us perhaps the stair access could be highlighted.

Maybe the steel outside steps to the apartment, quite a climb for anyone over 60.

Convenient location, beautiful building and views, flat is nicely laid out and nicely decorated, easy to follow instructions for check in and check out, comfy bed, little extras (free coffee) made me feel a welcome guest, information folder is great for any questions you may have about the flat and has great recommendations for places to eat and things to do.

Nothing. Note other reviewers mentioned the steps. They are outside but they are wide and have handrails and there really aren’t that many steps. And - the view from the top of the steps makes the climb worthwhile.

A fabulous apartment which is very well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had good instructions from the host regarding checking in and everything went very smoothly. No issues with parking and although our vehicle was too high to fit in the assigned garage there was plenty of on-street parking outside the property. The location of the property is great too, literally a couple of minutes walk into the town centre. Would definitely book again if visiting Penrith.

Very clean and well equipped. Furnished to a high standard.

The only criticism we had was that there isn't a teapot!
