Ariadne Suites

Well-designed space with the most comfortable bed and quality linens. The private pool and terrace overlooking the sea was spectacular. We appreciated the amenities that made it feel like home: the refrigerator, table settings, accent candles, coffee maker, tea kettle and the clothes drying rack. We loved the location - it was secluded and quiet, but only a quick 5 to 10 minute drive to Sarakiniko, Plaka and Adamantas. Our check in with Riva Travel at the port was smooth; they took the time to give us some travel tips for the island, and they even escorted us to the location. This was our splurge booking and it did not disappoint.

As other travellers have mentioned, the front door was tricky to open - needs to be fixed. While we we not there to watch TV - the tv monitor was small and dated.

The room was very clean and nice interior design. The pool was the best part of the property.

The images show a private location however in reality you are completely overlooked by a large villa to the left of the property. This isn't normally a problem, but was a little frustrating if you have a villa full of noisy neighbors which we did. Very grumpy desk staff at reception but they did the job. Be prepared to get a taxi or organize a transfer to the property.

The property itself was amazing, extremely roomy and comfortable and the pool outlook was beautiful

Unfortunately we missed a night of our stay due to ferry cancellations that were out of our control, we were not offered a refund. We also expected the room to be cleaned each day for the price we paid.

I like the sunrise and sunset everyday. It was a true pleasure to enjoy it.

The swimming pool was really dirty. We arrived on Sunday and we were suppose to leave on Wednesday. They only came on Tuesday at 4:30 pm to clean the swimming pool. It was a deception.

Location was amazing. 4 mins to the famous Sarakinika Beach and only 5 or so mins to the port. The room, pool and view was amazing

The check in process was absolutely terrible. Waited around at the port for 1 hour for someone to show us how to get the villa and give us the key. We ended up demanding the key and driving ourselves (which the villa was not hard to find). Complete waste of time. Also the front door was extremely hard to open each time. They definitely need to fix that.

Property was amazing, close to all ammenities and very clean. Peaceful neighbourhood and an absolute slice of heaven. Stunning! Special thanks to Riva Travel who were always accomodating and helpful and amazing to deal with. Maki our transfer who is an amazing human and true gentleman. He was always helpful, engaging, delightful to deal with and without him and his advice would have missed out on the most amazing places to go to.

We had to leave.

The bed was super comfortable and loved having the lounge chairs by the pool. Still a bit too cold for us to go in but nice to dip our feet in. Happy an iron was supplied and the slippers were a nice touch.

There aren't any restaurants within walking distance - there is one about 10 minutes down the road but no sidewalks.
