The view was amazing

The bedroom in basement had damp smell not good to sleep in and didn't have tissue roll in one bathroom . For 6 people should have had more bathroom stuff .

The view was fabulous and the pool area was great.

The apartment was dated and we all slept on z-beds. It was a long, narrow apartment, the only window/door being at the entrance so no air circulating. The bathroom at the rear end of the apartment was grotty, old and mouldy. I dreaded going in it to be honest. We had no fan and the first night we had to drag our mattresses outside as it was too hot to be inside. When I asked for a fan at reception, the receptionist was unhelpful and rude, saying there were no fans left and not seeming bothered about our comfort at all. It was very disappointing considering the cost.

- The location was stunning, the view couldn't have been better! (Be aware though you will need transport/to use shuttle to get into Rapallo/go elsewhere to eat). - The pool area was well maintained with life guards on duty who enforced the no footwear poolside and to shower before using. - The loungers were comfortable and serviced regularly. - The lunches & drinks from the onsite bar were good. - The terrace outside the room with awning for shade was a life saver in the heat of the apartment.

- We were ill from the heat, unless you are used to 35-40 degrees in a property with no windows whatsoever that is heated by the sun all day then avoid as no aircon and seems we were lucky to have been provided with 1 fan as our friends in the apartment next door had to manage 1st night without one. Even making up the sofa bed at the front of the property, near the louvre shuttered French Doors, rather than sleeping in the double room at the back of the apartment didn't stop the heat from being dangerous - I was hallucinating from lack of sleep and our son fainted from it. I also fell down the steps between the twin room and kitchen, my fall being broken by the top of my head hitting the wall cupboard over the sink/hip hitting the counter top. This is because the lack of space between the bottom step and dining table lead me to believe I'd got to the bottom when I still had one step to go in my overtired state. - The sun-lounger area is muddy making a mess of flip flops (and the apartment if you forgot to remove on entering!). - The takeaway food isn't worth the money, our son wouldn't even try his hamburger and fries it looked so unappealing. - The shower hose leaked in bigger flow between it and the shower head than what came out of the shower head - The seals in the shower doors were severely coming away

Very nice view. Beautiful location. Nice pool. Free shuttle service down the hill to Rapallo. Our apartment had a nice terrace.

We got an apartment without windows and without aircondition. We ended up sleeping on the couch with all doors open just to be able to breath and we had to ask for a fan just to get some circulation. The apartment needed to be updated and to get new beds. Had I realized it had no a/c and if we should stay for more than 3 nights then I would have cancelled. Hotel was full and it was not possible to change room.
