Grade II Listed Flint Cottage Sleeps 4

Stylish apartment really close to the city centre - super convenient. It doesn’t have parking, but we used JustPark right around the corner and it worked perfectly. The place was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. We stayed on a Saturday night with four people and it was all very easy and smooth. Really nice spot will definitely be back!

as rooms are spacious beds could be a bit bigger. No soap , gel or any product at all in bathroom.

Full of character, lots of space and pretty much everything we needed.

Could do with black out blinds and/or heavy curtains in the bedrooms. There was a lot of light coming into the rooms. Also whilst we understand we were in the city near Christmas, and it can’t be controlled by the hosts, there was a lot of noise through the night. Any kind of secondary glazing or sound reduction on the windows could reduce the noise a little. Other than that it was lovely and just what we needed.

Character of the property. Location was good and pretty quiet

No parking at the property, despite plenty of empty permit holder places. Sofa not particularly comfortable for 4 people.

Loved the property throughout, only slight negative is the wooden spiral staircase but just go careful, it’s part of the quirkiness of the property

It was attractively decorated with wall hangings, pictures and ornaments. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen facilities were good.

1. We didnt like the bedrooms being on a different floor from the bathroom. And more crucially, with a steep, narrow spiral stairway having to be negotiated between them. They were treacherous for trips to the toilet in the night when not fully awake. The existence of this stairway should be mentioned in the profile so that people with small children, or those with less than perfect mobility or people who need to visit the toilet in the night, are made aware that isnt going to be easy. 2. Also there should be some indication of the location of the apartment AT STREET LEVEL e.g. the number 63 or Weaver's Cottage. The entrance isnt at all obvious and we walked past it and back a couple of times before realising that the alleyway was the one mentioned in the access notes.
