I loved the comfort of the place as well as the proximity to all the famous and historic landmarks. Also the cleanliness.

Everything was good

Our host, Federica, was amazing! So friendly and helpful! The room was beautiful, updated, and very clean and we loved being so close to the cathedral and all the fantastic old architecture. All the amenities we needed were there including a free bottle of wine! We loved looking off the 2 sunny balconies at the street life below.

I found the bed a bit hard and it compressed a lot in the middle so was not super comfortable for me. (I think it's a deeply compressing memory foam.) And to sleep in the morning, we needed earplugs as the street noise was fairly audible from the bed.

The location was good, very close to Via Maqueda full of restaurants and the cathedral. The host greeted us on arrival and offered suggestions of places to visit. The apartment seemed clean and stocked with things we might need during our stay.

We only booked this apartment as we were expecting to have access to the rooftop terrace. Unfortunately this was not the case. On arrival, we were given a smaller apartment with a single bed in the kitchen and no rooftop anything. The beds were too soft and squeaky, made a noise every time we turned, which itself was quite an exercise due to the softness of the mattress. For 3 out of 5 nights we stayed we had no hot water so had to take cold (or lukewarm) showers. We assumed this was the case, until the host changed the gas bottle (I wish the bottle was checked prior to our arrival). Late into the night and early in the morning we could hear the guests in the flat above us move the furniture (chairs I guess) and make a lot of noise which was unpleasant when we were trying to sleep. If I knew all of this before booking, I would not have booked the stay. I would not recommend this appartment and will not be staying again next time we are in Palermo.

Great little apartment in a central location. Roof terrace was magic to sit in the warm December mornings with an espresso and pastry, a beautiful view onto the Cathedral.

It didn't bother me, however it should be noted that there are a lot of steps. 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment proper.

good location, free parking, very friendly host (we got much information about the city etc.), apartment completely equipped with nice furniture.

central key for electricity - impossible to lock the door when everything is dark (sensor is needed). inadequate heating.

The apartment was small but very clean, its location is very good all round as you are just minutes away from most of the beautiful historic centre, it had everything we needed for a great stay in beautiful Palermo.

Unfortunately the noisy Sicilian neighbourhood did not help with our sleep, plus the street beggars are very aggressive in the city centre but that has no reflection on the apartment as we felt safe all the time so I would stay again.

Federica is the loveliest host! She gave us great advice and a perfect introduction to the city. The place itself was very clean and had everything that was promised and the location was excellent (2min walk to the very center of the city!)

What an amazing find! The apartment is a few streets away from the beautiful Cathedral, and the palazzo just in front of the Normal Palace and Palatina churhc. The views are beautiful are beautiful from the terrace. The local street art in the two surrounding streets gave it such a creative vibe mixed among new and old structures. Just a few streets away was the Capo market, and we loved wandering around the tiny narrow streets and getting the feel for the area. We were SO glad we stayed in this area. The little local grocery and bakery downstairs made getting supplies so simple. Our host, Federica was amazing! Always attentive, personable, helpful, and available to step in to help us get reservations or to arrange transport.
