Loved the peace and quiet,all you hear is birds chirping,no noise

It's in a rural setting. There's a strawberry farm on the corner entrance, Polkadraai Farm, a bike park across the street and relatively quiet. The highway access is nice and apparently good airport access and its a beautiful drive. The staff were pleasant.

There's no signage, no reception, no intercom to get in. We couldn't get in! We don't carry international wifi phones and so we had no way to contact the property. We would now have to drive back to Stellenbosch to a wifi restaurant. We were already exhausted from several long travel days. Then, a woman coming out, questioned me intensely about do I have a booking. Yes. She wasn't staff but a guest herself. I asked if I could walk in and my husband would stay in the car so I get to reception to check in and get keys. She was afraid. Something about fear of getting in trouble with Hostess. With extreme hesitation, she let us through. We were so grateful. I had difficulty finding reception. A young couple, guests, arrived and assisted me. Yes they confirmed reception was difficult to find and took me to a bamboo gate. The Hostess led us to a another area through a gate where we parked our car (there was a 6x6 square hole that one could sprain or break an ankle on the side of the car) then led us to a room (studio not a one bedroom) in a corner, might be nice in the summer but not in the fall/winter. So it was dark and dreary and sorry but it was cold. The little heater provided was insufficient. Apparently there were heating blankets but we were not informed till we left. Walking to the room on the pathway were several garden hoses making it a safety hazard. Unfortunately the garden was over grown and unkempt. There's more I could say but this is enough. I didn't find talking to the Manager helpful and as as foreigners, we were doing our best to adjust. I had asked for another room and was denied, but then offered another location when I cancelled, but had to wait four days. No, please could you refund the balance owing (2weeks) and was quoted the policy. Decisions, policy, can be changed. In the end it wasn't for us and so we left. This was our experience. I'm very sorry and write this with a very heavy heart.

The apartment is in a quiet and quaint location, just one street away from the wonderful seafront promenade, restaurants + shopping centres. Minutes away from Clifton/Camps Bay/V&A Waterfront. It offers everything one needs for a comfortable, homey and practical short-/long-term stay.

Neighbours can get a little noisy at times. Perhaps a sign could help reduce the noise levels?

Most beautiful location in the middle of the wine lands with so many wineries closeby! Hot tub was echt fantastisch!
