The View - Sandown

Very quiet location. Beautiful views.

Car parking space was a bit tight but once you got used to it proved to be an asset.

Spacious bright & clean. Great location. Loved the balcony. Comfy beds, really fresh smelling bedding. So well equipped with everything. Little touches like games, books DVDs. Great communication.

Honestly so hard to find anything wrong with this place. But, it would be good if they had a proper shower in the main bathroom or even a hook to hang the current one on. Also the parking space is tiny. You will struggle if you have a larger than average car. We did and scratched the car unfortunately, probably better to park on the street overnight. It’s only £2 all night till 10am. I appreciate there’s nothing you can do about this by the way! Other than these 2 things it was a perfect stay.

Views and decor

No dishwasher or tumble dryer

Amazing views, flat felt very cosy whilst also being light and airy. Loved being right on the beach and listening to the waves at night. The mattresses on the double beds were so comfy - we're quite fussy with beds, and these were exceptional. We will definitely return.

The bunk beds were a little squeaky - every time my daughter moved on the top bunk it would make a noise - fine if you have heavy sleepers but beware if light sleepers. The bathrooms could do with an update, but would not prevent us returning.

The view from the flat was wonderful. The flat itself was quiet and we heard no noise from neighbouring flats, and very little from outside.

the instructions on arrival said 'go to the door back towards the ramp' - in fact there were several doors, the one we tried took us up the wrong lift. it took a while to get sorted, but we did find the flat. Suggest the instructions say 'go back to the door behind parking spaces 46 and 49 to access the lift to flat 55, The View'.

Perfect location and great balcony

Parking was tight. Shower needs to be wall mounted over bath with a curtain it was difficult to use as a shower

The property was just so amazing , the view was just exceptional and waking up to the sounds of the waves was so nice .

The ramp up to the car space was very tight and narrow and also the space was very narrow and short as I only had a fiesta and the front part nearly caught the grill of my car .
